Graduation Requirements
Participation in all modules. Guidelines for Coaching Portfolio, Mastery Practicum report, Interim and Final Exams with two coaching demonstrations each, pass Ethics exam, complete coaching 3 clients.
Graduation from our program meets the ICF education requirements for coach certification for participant learning hours, mentor coaching and passing SUN program exams.
Successful completion of the SUN Coach Education, Training and Certification Program enables you to be a Certified Success Coach (C.S.C.) and part of the network of people serving the planet in this way. When you have completed 125 hours of SUN education received your SUN certificate and have 500 hours coaching experience AFTER your graduation, you may apply for the ICF credential, the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. ICF will administer the Coach Knowledge Assessment exam. Other requirements are on the ICF website, www.coachingfederation.org.
If you wish to apply for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential after you complete 60 hours of SUN education AND 100 hours coaching experience (25 hours may be pro bono), you may apply to ICF. ICF will administer the Coach Knowledge Assessment exam.
Beyond Graduation
SUN Continuing Education Opportunities for graduates.
We support your continuing education in a number of ways:
- Annual SUN education retreats, typically 4-5 days and 15-20 credit hours
- Monthly Tele-classes, 1 hour each, facilitated by credentialed Educators and credentialed coaches
- Monthly Global Skills Practices, 1 hour each
- Other education programs offered by individual SUN Coach Educators and graduates
